We are offering an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Maintenance Technician.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining facility grounds, performs basic maintenance and minor repair work on buildings, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.

00 per hour (3 years of experience required) Maintenance Technician duties include but are not limited to:
Performs basic maintenance and minor repair work on facility buildings, structures, equipment, and grounds.
Notify supervisor of major repairs.
Liaise with supervisor to outsource work.
Follows established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance services.
Clean and stock restrooms daily.
Collect and dispose of trash and recycling daily.
Assist the transportation department with gassing vans, tire changes, taking vans to be serviced etc.
Reports all incidents, accidents, unsafe/hazardous conditions and equipment malfunction, no matter how minor, to your supervisor immediately.
Assures that work area and assignment areas are clean and neat, with tools, supplies and equipment properly stored before leaving such areas, on breaks, or at end of workday.
Maintains tools and equipment in safe operating condition.
Operates a variety of hand and power tools including saws, drills, etc.
Clean pool daily (skim off any debris) Maintains lawns and landscapes, by mowing, trimming, edging, raking, etc.
Maintains work logs and records related to completed work tasks.
Maintains maintenance tools/supplies inventory.
Manages security system and staff codes for the security system (may have to come in during a weekend and/or after hours if needed for alarm).
Manages fire system, and fire drills.
Manages and oversees safety committee.
Performs other duties to the above in scope and function as required.

Possess a valid California Driver's License with proof of insurance.
High school diploma/GED.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, or hear.
The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move at least 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
