Assistant Clubhouse Engineer - Maintenance Technician
Assistant Clubhouse EngineerPrivate Golf Course and Country Club in El Dorado Hills has an immediate opening for an experienced, dependable maintenance technician.
This is a full time position.
High school diploma or GED; and one-year hands-on experience in country club, apartment complex, restaurant, and/or hotel maintenance related industries with knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities in all phases of building/facility maintenance and preventative maintenance.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpet, tile, refrigeration, pools and spas, lighting, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, and housekeeping; additional industry-related training from college, trade school or technical school preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to managers, members, guests, and employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Essential duties and responsibilities will be to maintain and make general repairs to plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical system, appliances, elevator, ventilation system and building structure of the club.
Conducts plumbing repairs such as leaking pipes and faucets, and clogged drains.
Performs various duties involving cleaning, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
Maintains HVAC system, refrigerators, ice machines, and pool circulations pumps.
Replaces light bulbs, tubes, ballasts, switches, etc.
Serrano offers vacation, sick and paid holiday time for full time employees.
