Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Read construction drawings and blueprints Select, measure, cut, shape and join wood materials for building frames Repair existing frames Add finishes such as drywall, paneling and trim to the framework Use power and hand tools and carpentry equipment Communicate with contractors and clients Build structures according to proper code and regulations Requirements:
Experience in framing new construction homes for 5-7 years Highly Mechanically inclined Good with tools, measurements and cutting wood Must have own framing tools Must have own transportation to get to different sites Ability to follow instructions on a fast pace construction setting Good math skills Critical thinking Attention to detail Ability to read blueprints Building code knowledge Multitasking Teamwork Communication skills Bilingual a plus Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 70lbs Work at a fast pace construction setting Steel toe and hard hat Required Ability to work Job Type:
