- Conduct individual therapy sessions with adolescents to assess their mental health needs and develop treatment plans - Facilitate group therapy sessions to address specific issues or provide support to patients - Provide addiction counseling and support to adolescents struggling with substance abuse - Perform patient assessments to identify behavioral health concerns and develop appropriate interventions - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic treatment - Provide behavioral therapy techniques to help patients manage and overcome mental health challenges - Specialize in working with adolescent patients and their parents, providing age-appropriate counseling and support - Offer PTSD care and treatment options for individuals who have experienced trauma Requirements:
- Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred - Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and evidence-based therapeutic techniques - Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children and individuals with addiction issues - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team - Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans - Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date on best practices in the field - Experience supervising interns - Works collaboratively with the Group Home Administrator and the Facilty Manager to operate the adolescent group home in accordance with CARF standards and CDSS regulations.
